A meter housing has to protect the meter and its connections from the weather, give the installer clean access and last without maintenance. Our GRP meter housings and cabinets are built for that job. They are IP55-rated, non-conductive and manufactured in Wales. We supply electrical contractors across the UK.

Why contractors choose GRP for meter housings

GRP is non-conductive, so the cabinet body is not a metal part you need to bond. It does not rust, so there is no coating to repair after handling or weathering. It is IP55-rated, so it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets.

Choose a single or double door cabinet

Single door for a compact meter housing or a small set of equipment. Our single door range runs from the FS1 to the FS5.
Double door for wider equipment, or where you need access from both sides. The double door range runs from the FD2 to the FD7.

Double door cabinet, 1510 mm wide, 650 mm deep and 1500 mm high.
Double door opening of 1350 mm wide and 1240 mm high.
18 mm ply backboard, 1220 x 1220 mm.
Internal finish in GRP White.
Integral 100 mm GRP base flange.
